Savings on Gas!

We have recently learnt that if you are a “Micro-Business” you qualify for lower unit charges for your gas consumption. In terms of British Gas, a Micro-Business is any one of the following:-
- You have asked British Gas to supply you with electricity and you do not use more than 55,000 kWh of electricity per year;
- You have asked British Gas to supply you with gas and you do not use more than 200,000 kWh of gas per year;
- You have fewer than 10 employees (or their full-time equivalent) and your yearly turnover or yearly balance sheet total is no more than £2 million.
By changing to the Micro-Business tariff we have saved almost 18% on our unit charges with British Gas. Not to be “scoffed” at in these difficult times!!
