Meet the team
We could not provide such a comprehensive service without a top class team. Our people are our strength: here to listen and understand your needs before providing the relevant solutions and support.
Alan Morgan, Owner and Business Consultant

Alan Morgan is not a ‘run of the mill’ accountant – but then, like other Morgan Harris clients, you wouldn’t want a ‘run of the mill’ accountant anyway. Alan has an extensive knowledge of accountancy and taxation issues and a natural and positive approach to business. Having developed a business from scratch before Morgan Harris and then sold the business, Alan is fully aware of what it is really like to build a business of value. To succeed you’ll need an expert working on your behalf and that’s what Alan will do. He’ll listen and build his team around your needs to make sure you’re always the priority.
His energy and drive are infectious and they are totally focused on the success of your business. Alan will work hard to help you reach your goals – whatever they may be. He’s a great listener, a fast thinker and a positive ally.
Nicola Simpson, Account Manager

After gaining a degree in Accounting and Finance at Huddersfield University, Nicola went on to qualify as a Certified Accountant in 2002.
Nicola prides herself on delivering a first class service to her clients, with over 5 years experience of providing hands on management information to a wide range of clients. She develops strong and close relationships and gives no-nonsense, honest advice. She keeps to your deadlines, produces accurate and timely reports and gives a fast response to your needs. Nicola has a pro-active approach to dealing with situations and is not daunted or phased by out of the ordinary situations.
Her key skills are management reporting and Sage accounts expertise; she is a good communicator, with an open and friendly approach. Nicola’s passion for accounting and finance extends outside the office – she teaches accountancy students at a local college one evening a week. She is comfortable in dealing with a wide range of differing types of people and her teaching and training skills are second to none.
Nicola lives with her husband and one year old daughter in Witney. She enjoys music, eating out, socialising and cycling in the Oxfordshire countryside.
Tina Roberts, Account Manager

Those of you familiar with Tina know that she doesn't pull her punches - and we wouldn't want it any other way! She works mainly with our larger clients and her areas of expertise include computerised accounting packages and financial systems development.
As a Client Account Manager, Tina’s portfolio of clients can be confident that they will be looked after to the same high standards to which she has always aspired.
One of Tina's greatest strengths is that she avoids the use of jargon. She possesses the ability to explain and discuss complicated accountancy issues in plain and simple terms. A real breath of fresh air!
Tina has worked with Alan Morgan for 25 years and in that time as well as becoming “part of the furniture” she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with the financial needs of small businesses.
Tina is married with 2 children and when she manages to find a spare moment in her busy life, she enjoys eating out, watching TV and spending time with her family!
Stacey Clack, Account Manager

Stacey is a high achiever in her chosen sports of gymnastics and kickboxing, Stacey has continued her competitive sport ethic into her accountancy career achieving the highest grade in the Thames Valley region in one of her final Chartered Accountancy exams in 2005.
Stacey has worked along side Alan Morgan for 9 years and has a wealth of knowledge of all aspects of accountancy, business consultancy and corporate and personal taxation, as well as a detailed knowledge of VAT, payroll and computerised bookkeeping packages. She is also one of our Sage software experts.
Stacey is a client account manager within Morgan Harris, who as well as preparing accounts and tax returns, provides a back up service to Deb for the detailed aspects of payroll.
As shown by her sporting interests, Stacey enjoys the dynamics in life, which she has brought into the office environment. Stacey is passionate about working with business owners to define and achieve their personal goals and vision, through the development of their businesses.
Sarah Jackson, Accounts Assistant

Sarah joined Morgan Harris in 2006. Given her extrovert and bubbly personality some people find it strange that she has chosen a career in accountancy. However, don’t be fooled by the cover! Sarah is an extremely bright, focused and diligent person with a real passion to succeed in her chosen career. Her enthusiasm is infectious!
Sarah is a “whizz” when it comes to anything to do with computers and is a great asset to have in the office. Rumour has it that her middle name is “Excel”! Sarah is responsible for the Morgan Harris website and the regular updates of the “Latest News” part of this site.
As well as working closely with the Account Managers during her training (she couldn’t have better mentors!), Sarah is studying for her AAT qualification, and expects to complete the qualification in the summer of 2008. She then plans to go onto study to be a Certified Accountant.
Deb Morgan, Office Manager

Deb has worked with Alan for over 20 years. Before this she worked for 10 years in the banking industry in a variety of roles.
As Office Manager, Deb keeps the team at Morgan Harris in check. As well as keeping the team in order she ensures the smooth running of our operation. A born organiser, she will usually be the first voice you hear if you telephone us, or the first friendly face you see when you visit us. Her great sense of humour was tested to the limit a few years ago when she was “wound up” by the local radio station.
Deb also heads up our Bureau Payroll Services and Conference/Meeting Room Facility.
Deb is also mum to two teenage sons and when she gets the time likes interior design and making her own soft furnishings. When not at work Deb loves nothing more than to kick off her shoes, relax and watch a good film, preferably starring Brad Pitt, and definitely with a glass of wine in hand!
